Audimate is a Belgian audit firm with its own audit software. In Leuven, Belgium, we are hiring our first software engineer.
Auditors spend most of their time on repetitive testing: ticking off entries, retyping evidence, drafting working papers. At Audimate, our own software does that work, so our firm spends its time on judgement. You build that software, as our first engineer.
What you build
- The AI engine that reads audit evidence and links every number to its source: file and page (Claude API, structured outputs).
- The analyses that review every entry instead of a sample, and put the high risks on top.
- The generation of statutory reports and working papers in line with the ISAs (Python).
- The web app where the auditor decides and signs (Next.js, TypeScript, data in the EU).

Your first 90 days
- Week 1You walk through a liquidation file with Ewoud and learn how an auditor thinks.
- Month 1Your first report generation runs in production.
- Month 3A complete liquidation runs through your code, from evidence to signed report.
What you bring
- 3+ years of building and shipping software products with real users.
- Fluent in TypeScript and Python.
- You work with Claude Code or a similar coding agent every day, and you know where it goes wrong.
- You show with tests, evals and numbers that something works.
- You work in English or Dutch.
A plus: LLM extraction or evals in production, document generation, Postgres, a product or side project of your own. No audit background? You will learn it here.
Not ticking every box? Apply anyway. What you have built counts for more than your degree.
